Barbara Graham Named Senior Director of Revenue Cycle for Ascension Living

The Tolan Group (TTG), a Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Healthcare Executive Search Firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Barbara Graham as Senior Director of Revenue Cycle at Ascension Living, bringing more than 30 years of healthcare revenue cycle and operational leadership experience.

Ascension Living is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit senior living providers, delivering a comprehensive continuum of care that includes independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services. As part of the Ascension ministry, the organization is committed to compassionate, mission-driven care while maintaining strong financial stewardship and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Ascension Living, Barbara served as Vice President of Operations at Medusind, where she led large-scale revenue cycle operations across multiple geographies and directed a global workforce supporting hospitals and physician groups. She successfully improved net collection rates, reduced days in accounts receivable, enhanced clean claim performance, and implemented enterprise-wide denial prevention and automation strategies. Earlier in her career, Barbara founded and led two revenue cycle companies that were ultimately acquired by national healthcare organizations, demonstrating her ability to build scalable, high-performing RCM infrastructures.

With her extensive expertise in revenue integrity, payer relations, compliance, and technology-enabled RCM optimization, Barbara is poised to strengthen Ascension Living’s revenue cycle strategy and support long-term financial sustainability across its senior living communities.

Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University.
