Marge Conner-Levin Named as Executive Director, New Jersey at Elwyn

The Tolan Group (TTG), a Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Healthcare Executive Search Firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Marge Conner-Levin as Executive Director, New Jersey at Elwyn, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), behavioral health, special education, and mental health services.

Founded in 1852, Elwyn is a nationally recognized nonprofit human services organization supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, and other complex challenges. The organization provides a broad range of residential, educational, behavioral health, and community-based services.
Prior to joining Elwyn, Marge served as Principal Consultant with Consulting for Human Services, partnering with nonprofit and for-profit organizations across the country on strategic planning, organizational assessment and alignment, executive coaching, leadership development, program growth, and M&A readiness.
Earlier in her career, Marge served as Senior Vice President, Health Services at Allies and held senior leadership roles with Archway Programs, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, she led a 500+ employee human services organization through a successful turnaround while expanding programs, strengthening organizational infrastructure, and positioning the organization for long-term sustainability. Marge also spent nearly two decades with Drenk Mental Health Center, now Legacy Treatment Services, ultimately serving as Chief Operating Officer.
With her extensive experience in IDD and human services, combined with her deep knowledge of New Jersey’s human services environment, Marge is well positioned to support Elwyn’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality, community-based services.
Marge holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University.
