Marlah Bonner Named SVP of Advancement and Executive Director Elwyn Health & Human Services Foundation

The Tolan Group (TTG), a Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Healthcare Executive Search Firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Marlah Bonner as Senior Vice President of Advancement and Executive Director of the Elwyn Health and Human Services Foundation at Elwyn. She brings over 20 years of experience in major and principal gifts, including more than a decade leading nonprofit fundraising, advancement, and capital campaigns.

Elwyn, founded in 1852 and headquartered in Media, PA, is the nation’s longest-operating human services nonprofit. Serving individuals with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral health needs across multiple states, Elwyn provides innovative, person-centered programs that promote inclusion, independence, and meaningful lives.

Prior to joining Elwyn, Marlah served as Vice President of Development at the League of American Orchestras, where she led and executed all fundraising initiatives. She previously held the role of Senior Director of External Affairs at the Philadelphia School Partnership, overseeing a venture philanthropy fund focused on accelerating change in low-income and underserved communities.

Marlah’s expertise in fundraising, donor engagement, and strategic planning will support Elwyn’s mission by expanding philanthropic support, strengthening partnerships, and enhancing programs across the organization’s multi-state network.

Marlah holds an MBA in Marketing and Media Management from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and a BSBA in Marketing and International Business from Philadelphia University.
