Kristi Ellis Named Senior Vice President of Growth for Frontier Psychiatry

The Tolan Group (TTG), a Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Healthcare Executive Search Firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Kristi Ellis as Senior Vice President of Growth at Frontier Psychiatry, bringing more than 15 years of healthcare growth leadership experience and over eight years focused specifically on behavioral health expansion within private equity-backed organizations.

Frontier Psychiatry is a leading provider of accessible, high-quality behavioral health services, expanding psychiatric care in underserved communities through telepsychiatry and evidence-based practice. By partnering with health systems, clinics, and community organizations, Frontier delivers timely, specialized care while reducing barriers to mental health access.

Prior to joining Frontier Psychiatry, Kristi served as Senior Vice President of Growth for Behavioral Health at Access TeleCare, where she led national telepsychiatry expansion across multiple service lines and built a robust growth pipeline within her first months in the role. Previously, as Head of Sales and Marketing at Turnwell Mental Health Network, she scaled the organization nationally, expanded into multiple new states, built a high-performing sales infrastructure, and significantly increased patient access. Her earlier leadership roles at Eating Recovery Center and NeuroRestorative further demonstrate her ability to transform underperforming markets, launch new service lines, and build strong referral partnerships across complex behavioral health environments.

With her extensive experience driving multi-state expansion, developing scalable growth playbooks, and building high-performing sales teams, Kristi is poised to strengthen Frontier Psychiatry’s business development strategy and accelerate growth across new and existing markets. Her mission-driven approach aligns closely with Frontier’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality psychiatric care.
