TTG Interim was approached by a private equity firm that needed an operational executive to lead all operations for a multi-site healthcare services platform in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US.


Assignment

Due to the client’s desire to have someone work side-by-side with the lead founder/physician it was clearly a situation where overall experience, skills and knowledge were important but cultural fit was the critical soft skill a candidate needed to be successful.

 

Solution

We quickly sourced multiple candidates across the region, each with strong operational skills that could travel from site to site and become the change agent to drive process efficiency across the platform. Having someone that could work side-by-side with the founder/physician who is very metric driven was also important.


Result

We developed a short-list within a week of getting the assignment and interviews started immediately. We placed the candidate on a temp-to-perm basis as the PE firm wanted to gauge the candidate’s success over time before converting them to become a full-time employee. After a month of working on an interim basis the client decided to convert the interim professional to a full-time employee leading operations.
