The Tolan Group Announces Placement of Marge Conner-Levin as Executive Director, New Jersey at Elwyn
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL - The Tolan Group (TTG), a Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Healthcare Executive Search Firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Marge Conner-Levin as Executive Director, New Jersey at Elwyn, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), behavioral health, special education, and mental health services.
Founded in 1852, Elwyn is a nationally recognized nonprofit human services organization supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, and other complex challenges. The organization provides a broad range of residential, educational, behavioral health, and community-based services.
In her new role, Conner-Levin will draw on her extensive background in human services operations, organizational transformation, program development, regulatory compliance, and executive leadership. Her experience leading complex organizations through periods of growth and change provides a strong foundation for supporting Elwyn’s programs and operations throughout New Jersey.
Prior to joining Elwyn, Conner-Levin served as Principal Consultant with Consulting for Human Services, where she advised nonprofit and for-profit organizations across the country on strategic planning, organizational assessment, executive development, program growth, governance, and M&A readiness. Previously, Conner-Levin served as Senior Vice President, Health Services at Allies and held both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer roles with Archway Programs.
Earlier in her career, Conner-Levin spent nearly two decades with Drenk Mental Health Center, now Legacy Treatment Services, ultimately serving as Chief Operating Officer. There, she managed a broad portfolio of programs and helped lead significant organizational and program growth.
Conner-Levin’s appointment brings Elwyn an experienced human services executive with deep knowledge of IDD, behavioral health, community-based services, and the New Jersey service environment.
Conner-Levin holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University.
